Hair in this category resemble Type 3 (curly) and Type 4 (coily) hair textures. These curl patterns require the most TLC. If you prefer a super defined ringlet, PLEASE be prepared to redefine your curls every 3 days. As with most tight curly/afro curly textures, the hair naturally expands ("get bigger") with each day that passes.
Restrict product usage in this hair. Unlike other kinky coily/curly textures, moisture overload is not needed, but a weekly/biweekly co-wash is highly recommended. Lets just go ahead and say "its required!" Sulfate-free shampoos and moisturizing conditioners are the most beneficial to this hair in the long run.

Due to nature of curly hair, shedding and tangling are inevitable. Please know that! To minimize this issue, please do NOT sleep with this wig on or extensions loose. Use the "Pineapple Method" to preserve your curls and reduce friction at the nape. I have found matting MOSTLY occurs from neglect. Detangling the hair every 4-5 days WILL alleviate this problem.
#1: Fill up your sink with warm water
#2: Submerge the unit and slowly detangle the hair in small sections from the tips to the weft. Take your time detangling the closure to prevent balding. A knot sealer should be used after washing, but I have yet to need one (just putting that out there lol). After detangling, use a Denman brush/Rubber Cushion Brush to brush in sections for optimal curl definition. This hair will “get bigger” as the day progresses. If you prefer a more tamed look, an anti-frizz serum should be applied while wet. Also low manipulation of the hair will reduce swelling.
#3: I ONLY air dry, but you can use a cool-set diffuser for maximum volume.
I do not recommend straightening this hair. Please check out my 'Kinky Straight Collection' texture for a coarse straight look. The hair can be colored and bleached. Please do not lift past a level 6. The safe coloring zones are between a jet black to medium auburn. Anything lighter will destroy the steamed curled pattern and damage the hair shaft. Please do not wear your unit while swimming in chlorine and salt water.

These patterns are the most versatile pattern offered on the site. Just wash & air dry for the perfect tousled "beach wavy" look...OR...wash & scrunch for some nice loose curls. A weekly co-wash will tame the curls throughout the week.

Due to the nature of wave/curly hair, shedding and tangling is inevitable. Please know that. Please do NOT sleep overnight with this unit/hair on. I have found a quick nap is ok. I have found matting ONLY occurs from neglect. Finger detangle in small sections. Start from the roots and work up the hair shaft. A secondary option would be to use a wide tooth comb to detangle.
After detangling, use a Denman brush for optimal curl definition. This hair will “get bigger” as the week progress. If you prefer a more tamed look, an anti-frizz serum should be applied while wet. Also low manipulation of the hair will reduce swelling. A light serum (argon oil) can add shine to this medium-to-low luster hair.
This hair was steamed processed for curl pattern. Therefore, I do not recommend flat ironing this hair. You can still do so on a low-to-medium setting (100-300F), but expect a loss in curl retention over time.

Due to nature of thick and coarse hair, shedding and tangling will occur. Nothing excessive, but expect a few snags and light tangling at the nape. Finger-combing/Wide-tooth combing the hair once or twice throughout the day will alleviate this problem. Overall, this hair detangles quite easily. I use a wide tooth comb and detangle in small sections. Start from the roots and work up the hair shaft.
